Destiny is not a matter of chance but a matter of choices. It is not something we should wait for. We have to achieve something, and how we achieve it depends on our preferences. If you are going to expect anything, you must create it by your choices. Success requires a deliberate effort to achieve. Everywhere in the Bible where Success is cited, the condition attached to it is choices.

God created human beings with the power of the will, which is the ability to choose your path. God can never force you into a plan you do not want, even on matters of salvation that are important to him. In John 3:16, the scripture says, "Whoever believes in him." He gives room to believe otherwise. God is not a robber to force himself into our plans.

Success, therefore, begins with you. You can, therefore, either decide to be rich or poor. Does it mean that poverty is a choice? YES. What you choose, you become. The decisions you make will either make you rich or poor. As light and darkness share nothing in common, so are poverty and wealth. They will never share the same stage. It is needful to say that circumstances can also make one poor.
